Timothy Ashworth on Spirit-Led Freedom

In a somewhat different vein is this article from Timothy Ashworth, “Spirit-Led Freedom: Examining a Significant Detail in Galatians.” Scripture Bulletin. 40:2 (2010): 75-87. It is a Quaker explanation of how a Christian can affirm continuing moral discipline alongside the radical nature of freedom in the Spirit.

It is a summary of the argument in his book Paul’s Necessary Sin: The Experience of Liberation. Aldershot: Ashgate, 2006. 0754654990, 9780754654995.
