Galatians at BNTC 2009

The British New Testament Conference 2009 conference program has been posted online and there is a little Galatians’ action in the Johannine literature section.

Peter Phillips, “Cross-Posting: Some Reflections on John 7 and Galatians 3-4.”

The conference will take place at the University of Aberdeen from September 3-5. The Galatians and John session will take place on Friday morning 9:00-10:30 in the Carnegie Room.

    If Galatians is South/Early, then I think my case looks pretty strong. Thanks again.

    • There is a lot of conjecture these days :). There is no doubt that Barnabas is an under-regarded figure. He was clearly highly involved in the early church but because he didn’t write anything (extant) he is usually overlooked. Of course, his name did warrant a pseudepigraphal gospel, Acts and epistle.
