Galatians 3:26-28 in the NLT

Yesterday the New Living Translation Blog had a post discussing the changes that they have made to these verses over the course of the NLT’s development from the first edition to our current text. Keith Williams posts the text of the Greek along with the original Living Bible and that from the 1996, 2004, and 2007 NLT. He also notes that they added two footnotes along the way. The analysis of the changes is very helpful in understanding why they were made and why the translators consider them closer to the original meaning than what they had before. I am still working on a comprehensive analysis of about 20 translations of 3:28 to demonstrate the various directions that translations can go with that verse so bear with me.
